Orange and White Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was ordered by our former neighbour's daughter from Sri Lalang, Kluang. The bride told us that she wanted an orange coloured wedding cake since her wedding theme was peach and white. Here we go - orange and white!

A fusion of traditional Minang and modern wedding ceremony

 The complete set of the wedding cake and cupcakes. This set comprised a 10"x10" and a 7"x7" fondant cake and 50 pieces of cupcakes.

 

 The wedding cakes was decorated with sugar paste Calla Lily and fleur de lis motifs on the cakes.

 A traditional fruits and flowers offering that is authentically Minang tradition. This offering was made by a type of palm leaves called 'palas' and various fruits and flowers. This ensembles were made by the bride's relatives from Bukit Tinggi, Indonesia.

The fruit and flowers offerings were put at both sides of the dais.

Chinese New Year season means weddings for the non-Chinese community. For two consequent years, Jujucupcakes has been bombarded with a lot of orders for wedding cakes and hantaran cakes. This year, we decided to celebrate Chinese New Year properly so, only one order penetrate on the first day of Chinese New Year.

We managed to finish up four wedding cakes in 3 days! and all of them were for June 4 Weddings. We featured only three wedding cakes here and will add another one when the bride and groom ready to upload the pictures!

This wedding cake and cupcakes set was ordered by Dr. Maizatul Azlina for her child minder's daughter's wedding in Inst. Veterinar, Air Hitam, Kluang. The mother of the bride, Kak Yah, was my former neighbour and I remembered attending her wedding when I was very young. We only charged Dr. Maizatul the cake with half the cost of the flowers and we sponsored the cupcakes. Anyway, congratulations to the newlyweds!

This wedding cake was ordered by Leha of Jln. Benut, Spg. Renggam for her wedding. Her friend, Wawa, came and collect the cake on Friday, June 3.

This wedding cake was ordered by Norliza Wati of Tmn Intan for her wedding. She came to order this cake with her father and her father chose the wedding cake and the colour of the decoration for her! We were amazed by how much interest her father gave to his daughter's wedding! We hope to see more daddy accompanying their daughter these days!
