Sweet lacey wedding cakes

In this post, both cakes were decorated with woven cloth lace. There is a 3-tiered wedding cake and a single tiered cake.

This wedding cake was made for the wedding reception of our beloved Nurse-aid in my sister's haemodialysis center. The cake is decorated with lace, diamante strands and topped with fresh red roses and baby's breathe.

Above is a single tiered fondant cake meant for an engagement ceremony.

These cakes were ordered by En. Jafar Taslim from Tmn Fajar, Kluang for her daughter's wedding. The wedding was held in Dewan Tunku Ibrahim, Kluang on September 3, 2012.

Bridge wedding cake

This wedding cake ensemble was ordered by Ms. Intan of Tmn Sri Impian for her wedding reception in Dewan Serbaguna Kuarters Polis, Padang Tembak on 1 December 2012.

This wedding cake ensemble consists of 10 cakes, 2 sets of stairs and 5 dozens of fresh roses. A cheaper version will consists of 5-6 cakes and the rest are dummies.

Budget wedding cake

This cake and cupcakes set was ordered by Ina of Tmn Intan for her brother's wedding reception. This ensembles cost only RM140. The set consists of 9" round cake and 40 pcs of cupcakes.

This wedding cake was ordered by Uda of Taman Bersatu Flat. This ensemble cost RM 90 only; consists of 8" and 5" round butter cream cakes.

Kamalanathan and Kaithery Wedding

This wedding cake was ordered by Bobby for his brother's wedding reception on 12 September 2011 in the Bell Club Hall in Jln Mengkibol, Kluang. This wedding cake consists of 13", 9" and 5" chocolate butter cake covered with fondant and decorated with fresh red roses.

Wedding Anniversary's Cake

This cake was ordered by Noorbaiti Ismail for her parent's 36th wedding anniversary. She ordered two-tier cake and we made the top tiers as a present for both Mak Yam and Pak Mail! The three-tiered cake consist of 11" and 8" vanilla sponge cake layered with blueberry filling and covered with fresh cream; and 6" carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (top tier) and also double heart sugar cookies as the cake topper. The theme colour of this cake is red and white. We hoped that Pak Mail and Mak Yam enjoys their 36th anniversary wedding cake! Congratulations Pak Mail and Mak Yam!

June Wedding Rush 3: Wedding cakes

1st day of Chinese Year

On the first day of Chinese New Year this year we were so busy that we didn't have any time to eat! We managed to finish two wedding cakes, two hantaran cakes and one birthday cake. We worked from 5:00 a.m. till 12:00 a.m.
We managed to forget the broom for one day and prepared all the messy things the day before. Hopefully our order in the future will be as full as the Chinese New Year wedding rush! Amen!

Six tiers wedding cake

This is one of our dream wedding cakes that we made for our baby brother's wedding in November 2010. We received many feed back for this wedding cake. In our opinion, Kluang folks are not ready to accept changes! Can you imagine there were people who actually thought that the cake has too many flowers and therefore that's not nice! Karma has it that a month later during that person's turn to host a wedding the roses we ordered turned out to be very small and the wedding cake looks a bit off. Moral of the story is never talk bad about other people's dream or inventions!
This wedding cake consists of two cakes (15" and 13") and four dummies actually; and used at least 10 dozens of fresh red roses (more if possible). This wedding cake will cost more than RM700 in Kluang but the price will depend on your choice of flowers.
Why is it so expensive? It uses more than 1 kg of liquid glucose, 2kg of flour, 3 dozens of egg, 4 kg of butter, 5kg of icing sugar, 10 dozens of fresh roses (RM15/dozen) and takes more than 12 hours to make! Well, any of you thought of having one like this but the cost is equal or twice the price of your wedding dress? One of the solution is to make your own cake!
What have we done to the wedding cake? We cut and gave it to our guests!

Well, wedding cakes are for the host to share with the guests. In the western countries, the wedding cakes will be cut and serve to the guests and even pack as a gift to the guest. The top tier will be kept in the freezer for the couple to enjoy during their first wedding anniversary!

Jujucupcakes hopes that young couples will keep this in mind and share their wedding cakes (no matter the size of cake) with the families and guests!

Aidillfitri Order

Our first cupcake hantaran order after Ramadan! This hantaran set is for Juliana from Felda Bukit Tongkat. She contacted us two-three weeks before Raya because she needed it on the third of Syawal!

This fondant cake and cupcake set is for Pn. Rozniza from Tmn Sri Tengah. Her husband contacted us a week before Raya and requested the red roses cake for her wife's birthday! Wah!!! So.... romantic!

This cake is for my friend's daughter's birthday! She requested for a two tier cake with ladybirds (her daughter's wish!) and also gerbera (mommy's wish!), so this is the results...

Four tiers - Red & White theme

The theme is red & white. Consists of 52 pieces of cupcakes, one 12" choc butter cake covered with fondant and one dummy cake on top. We charge RM 350.00 for this set. The couple actually requested fresh flowers for this cake but since the wedding will be held in Kota Tinggi and they were traveling a day before, we gave them fondant flowers.
