This wedding cake was ordered by Bobby for his brother's wedding reception on 12 September 2011 in the Bell Club Hall in Jln Mengkibol, Kluang. This wedding cake consists of 13", 9" and 5" chocolate butter cake covered with fondant and decorated with fresh red roses.

This wedding cake was ordered by Hajjar of Tmn Intan, Kluang for her wedding reception on 4th September in Dewan Tunku Ibrahim Kluang. She ordered one set of wedding cake and cupcakes and an ensemble of cactus made of pop cakes.

This wedding cake consists of one 8" x 8" carrot cake covered with chocolate fondant, a 6" x 6" pyramid dummy and 65 pcs of blueberry and strawberry cupcakes.

This wedding cake was ordered by Sivakalai of Batu Pahat for her wedding. This wedding cake consists of an 11" and 7" diameter round chocolate moist cake covered with fondant and decorated with fresh red roses.

sThis wedding cake was ordered by Ani of Kg. Bentong, Kluang for her wedding on 10 July 2011. The wedding cake consists of 14", 11" and 7" sponge cake layered with blueberry and strawberry fillings and decorated with butter cream and fondant flowers.

His future wife then approached us to quote for a wedding cake but due to the long distance journey to Mersing, she decided against it. Her future husband then asked her where to order a wedding cake, so she suggested Juju Cupcakes! Thanks Maziah!
This wedding cake consists of a 12"x12" and an 8"x8" chocolate butter cake, a 5"x5" dummy. This is an English vintage style cake with a theme of turqoise and white.

We managed to finish up four wedding cakes in 3 days! and all of them were for June 4 Weddings. We featured only three wedding cakes here and will add another one when the bride and groom ready to upload the pictures!

This wedding cake and cupcakes set was ordered by Dr. Maizatul Azlina for her child minder's daughter's wedding in Inst. Veterinar, Air Hitam, Kluang. The mother of the bride, Kak Yah, was my former neighbour and I remembered attending her wedding when I was very young. We only charged Dr. Maizatul the cake with half the cost of the flowers and we sponsored the cupcakes. Anyway, congratulations to the newlyweds!

Calla Lily Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was ordered by Norhidayah of Kg. Tengah, Kluang for her wedding on 29 May 2011. The wedding cake consists of three fresh cream cakes - top and middle tier: chocolate strawberry layered sponge cakes measured 9" and 6", base tier: walnut tiramisu layered sponge cake measured 11". The cake stand was rented from the bridal house (unknown).

Pink and white modern vintage wedding

The first thing that caught our eyes when we arrived to the wedding were the 1950s Mini Cooper and the antique Vespa. The bunting showed the bride and groom in Saloma an P. Ramlee style of dress and the theme was all white and pink. It looked so serene unlike so many other weddings we've been to.

Suria (the bride) ordered a four-tiered wedding cake themed modern vintage and something like the singer - Elyana's wedding cake. It must be high and big, simple yet elegant. We planned to put the two based cake on pillars and stacked the third and fourth tiers. Unfortunately, the table was put on a stage near the dais and the stage happened to be tilting to the back! We spent more than an hour trying to stabilised the cake and the pillars. We finally made up our mind and asked the bride whether we can stacked the three top tiers or not due to the uneven stage condition. The bride thankfully gave us her permission to do what was the best for the cake.

This is the final result of today's work.

Blue and white theme wedding cake

This order came about 2 weeks before the wedding ceremony. The wedding theme was golden yellow but the bride's mother dreamed of a dark blue wedding cake actually. To make the story short, the couple has to find another bakery to bake their wedding cake because her sponsor back off due to unfortunate circumstances. As you can see the table was big but the cake was small, but nonetheless there was a wedding cake to cut!

Black and White Wedding Cake

We have just received a niece-in-law from Medan recently. Our nephew, Epi (for family) or Din (for friends),wed Febria Nora from Medan in JB and the wedding reception was held in Simpang Renggam on 26 Feb 2011. The theme was black and white but we were quite surprise to find blue flowers and wedding cake were given to this couple.
Well, we decided to present this couple with a wedding cake as a gift. Our cousin, Normah was so excited about it. We have to use my late Mom's round table which is half way to crumble (even my cousin's round table which was made around the same time has disappeared from her family's home) and my cousin has to rummage through her old room to find the table cloth.

We arrived around 1:00 pm and there was no wedding cake and the dish for the 'pengantin' has just arrived. So we decided to set the cake which was not yet assemble due to the distant and geographical factors and quickly help our cousins to set the table!

All of us were so eager to see the cake cut and served! The cake consists of 11", 8" and 5" choc fudge cakes and around 40 pieces of chocolate cupcakes (S and XS size). We made some search and decided to combine a few designs to suit the theme and the culture of the area! When the first wedding

When the first wedding cake was cut, a friend of my nephew actually ask us to keep the cake for the 'pengantin', we were quite surprise! We told him that the wedding cake was abundant and we should share the cake with the guests. No wonder, we have attended a lot of wedding and saw that some couples actually kept the wedding cakes and made the family of the wife or husband long to taste the cake or 'kempunan'! Please, whoever read this article spread the wisdom around!

The colour of the cakes were actually white, light gray, dark gray and black, unfortunately the light gray coloured fondant turned purplish to greenish some time after being exposed to sunlight. So, next time no more light gray! We thought of making a big black bow on top of the cake but due to the area where we were going, we decided to decorate the cake with some flowers!

Almost all the guests who were present during the cake cutting ceremony was given a piece of the wedding cake and everyone was quite full and happy to eat more cake that day!
To my nephew and wife, we hope you'll lead a happy, blessed and long marriage like your parents!

Chinese New Year Wedding Rush continues

This cupcake set was ordered by the future 'groom'. He started to contact us a month before his engagement actually and only finalize the order 2 weeks before the engagement day.

This wedding cake and cupcakes set was ordered by Siti Fatimah of Kg. Melayu and the 'bersanding' ceremony was held in Kg. Melayu Hall, Kluang. The set contains 11" and 5" cake and 60 pieces of cupcakes.

Six tiers wedding cake

This is one of our dream wedding cakes that we made for our baby brother's wedding in November 2010. We received many feed back for this wedding cake. In our opinion, Kluang folks are not ready to accept changes! Can you imagine there were people who actually thought that the cake has too many flowers and therefore that's not nice! Karma has it that a month later during that person's turn to host a wedding the roses we ordered turned out to be very small and the wedding cake looks a bit off. Moral of the story is never talk bad about other people's dream or inventions!
This wedding cake consists of two cakes (15" and 13") and four dummies actually; and used at least 10 dozens of fresh red roses (more if possible). This wedding cake will cost more than RM700 in Kluang but the price will depend on your choice of flowers.
Why is it so expensive? It uses more than 1 kg of liquid glucose, 2kg of flour, 3 dozens of egg, 4 kg of butter, 5kg of icing sugar, 10 dozens of fresh roses (RM15/dozen) and takes more than 12 hours to make! Well, any of you thought of having one like this but the cost is equal or twice the price of your wedding dress? One of the solution is to make your own cake!
What have we done to the wedding cake? We cut and gave it to our guests!

Well, wedding cakes are for the host to share with the guests. In the western countries, the wedding cakes will be cut and serve to the guests and even pack as a gift to the guest. The top tier will be kept in the freezer for the couple to enjoy during their first wedding anniversary!

Jujucupcakes hopes that young couples will keep this in mind and share their wedding cakes (no matter the size of cake) with the families and guests!

White wedding cake

This cake was ordered by Hanee for her wedding on 11 Dec 2010. She has also ordered another hantaran cake (the one with a lot of pink roses) and 2000 pcs of cupcakes as door gifts. Her mother, Cikgu Hamidah, promised to pick up the hantaran cake around 11 a.m. on Friday but due to miss understanding and unfortunate events, my sis has to send the cake to her house in Desa Harmoni.
We thought of assembling the above cake before going to her house on Saturday but when my sis went to her house on Friday, we changed our plan! Her house is situated on the hilly side of Desa Harmoni, we have to go through at least two sharp slope before reaching her house. I asked two of my assistant to come with us and carry the cake to her house.
When we were assembling the cake, there was one Auntie kept asking us, "Dik, tak de bunga merah ke, riben merah ke? Tak berserilah!" ("Sis, can you put some red flowers or ribbons? The cake look so dull!"). My sis - the PR at the time just said "Pengantin yg nak mcm ni! Nanti pengantinnya marah!" ("the bride is the one who asked for this kind of cake! We dare not go against her wish!"). In a small town as Kluang, Johor, a white themed wedding or wedding cake is unheard of especially in Malay community. This is our second white wedding cake actually. The first one was ordered by a Chinese friend who had to assemble the cake herself since we have to attend our brother's wedding in Pekan, Pahang.
