Kamalanathan and Kaithery Wedding

This wedding cake was ordered by Bobby for his brother's wedding reception on 12 September 2011 in the Bell Club Hall in Jln Mengkibol, Kluang. This wedding cake consists of 13", 9" and 5" chocolate butter cake covered with fondant and decorated with fresh red roses.

Chocolate Fondant Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was ordered by Noorhidayah Thalib of Tmn Intan for her wedding on 2 July 2011. The wedding cake consists of 13" steamed fruit cake which was made by her mother, 9" moist chocolate cake and 6" carrot cake topped with cream cheese frosting. The cakes were covered with chocolate fondant and decorated with fresh flowers. The bride specifically asked for a bright coloured wedding cake theme, so this is the results.

There were many challenges we faced during the preparation of this cake. One of them was searching for bright coloured fresh flowers! In Kluang, there were not many florists that offer bright colour flowers. Most of them are pastels and we couldn't get more from a supplier from Cameron Highland. In the end, we have to make do with whatever we have.

Hantaran from Fresh Flowers Service!

It was a hectic week for Juju Cupcakes team. One of our earliest customer, Noor Hidayah or Ida and her fiance, Mohamad Hafiz tied the knot on 1 July 2011. Due to unforseen circumstances, the bridal house operator who was supposed to prepare the 'hantaran', could not fulfill their promise and ask the couple to find some other alternative. Ida came to Juju Cupcakes to order her wedding cake and saw our brother's engagement photos. She asked us whether Juju Cupcakes were willing to help her and her fiance to create fresh flower hantaran for their wedding. We immediately say yes. We could not miss the opportunity to prove ourselves and expand our business interests.

Blue and white theme wedding cake

This order came about 2 weeks before the wedding ceremony. The wedding theme was golden yellow but the bride's mother dreamed of a dark blue wedding cake actually. To make the story short, the couple has to find another bakery to bake their wedding cake because her sponsor back off due to unfortunate circumstances. As you can see the table was big but the cake was small, but nonetheless there was a wedding cake to cut!
