We managed to finish up four wedding cakes in 3 days! and all of them were for June 4 Weddings. We featured only three wedding cakes here and will add another one when the bride and groom ready to upload the pictures!

This wedding cake and cupcakes set was ordered by Dr. Maizatul Azlina for her child minder's daughter's wedding in Inst. Veterinar, Air Hitam, Kluang. The mother of the bride, Kak Yah, was my former neighbour and I remembered attending her wedding when I was very young. We only charged Dr. Maizatul the cake with half the cost of the flowers and we sponsored the cupcakes. Anyway, congratulations to the newlyweds!

We were amazed by how much interest her father gave to his daughter's wedding! We hope to see more daddy accompanying their daughter these days!

Calla Lily Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was ordered by Norhidayah of Kg. Tengah, Kluang for her wedding on 29 May 2011. The wedding cake consists of three fresh cream cakes - top and middle tier: chocolate strawberry layered sponge cakes measured 9" and 6", base tier: walnut tiramisu layered sponge cake measured 11". The cake stand was rented from the bridal house (unknown).

Calla lilies cake toppers and the cake base was decorated with fondant leaves.

May 22 Wedding in Renggam

This cake was ordered by Norashikin of Renggam for her wedding. This set consists of 12"x12" and 9"x9" fondant cake and 6"x6" dummy. We ordered four dozens of 'shocking pink' roses but only received 2 dozens of them. We had to buy another 2 dozens of light pink roses to complete this set.

UMNO's 65th Anniversary Cake

Puteri UMNO Kluang ordered a cake as big as a coffee table actually for UMNO's 65th Anniversary celebration on 21 May 2011 in Sek. Men. Agama Kerajaan Johor's Hall. The cake measured 34" x 24" topped with butter cream and layered with blueberry and strawberry fillings took 3 days to bake and decorate.
On top of that order, we received 600 pcs butter cream topped cupcakes for the same event, 60 pcs baby shower door gifts cupcakes and a 2 tiers mini hantaran cake. Our live were so hectic that we hardly slept for 3 days to finish those orders.

Pink and white modern vintage wedding

The first thing that caught our eyes when we arrived to the wedding were the 1950s Mini Cooper and the antique Vespa. The bunting showed the bride and groom in Saloma an P. Ramlee style of dress and the theme was all white and pink. It looked so serene unlike so many other weddings we've been to.

Suria (the bride) ordered a four-tiered wedding cake themed modern vintage and something like the singer - Elyana's wedding cake. It must be high and big, simple yet elegant. We planned to put the two based cake on pillars and stacked the third and fourth tiers. Unfortunately, the table was put on a stage near the dais and the stage happened to be tilting to the back! We spent more than an hour trying to stabilised the cake and the pillars. We finally made up our mind and asked the bride whether we can stacked the three top tiers or not due to the uneven stage condition. The bride thankfully gave us her permission to do what was the best for the cake.

This is the final result of today's work.
